earnify™

earnify™ is our NEW loyalty rewards program, replacing Refreshing Rewards, now offering you better savings both at the pump and inside the convenience store. We are bringing you easier savings with options! All earnify™ members receive 5 cents off per gallon every time!  

  • Earn: 1 point per dollar in fuel spend and 2 points per dollar in convenience spend  
  • Burn: Use your points the way you choose!
    • 200 points = $2 in convenience savings OR an additional 5-cent-per-gallon discount

Please note: Your points will continue to accrue and remain in your earnify™ wallet until you choose to redeem them, and the points will expire after 90 days of no interaction with earnify™.

You cannot use any other loyalty app(s) at these sites. BPme Rewards, the ampm app, Thorntons Refreshing Rewards, and TravelCenters of America Trucksmart app are no longer supported at participating earnify™ locations.

The Refreshing Rewards app is no longer active at sites that support the new earnify™ app. You will not be able to use Refreshing Rewards in the new earnify™ app, but you will immediately receive 250 bonus points upon registering for earnify™, which gets you an immediate reward or a discount on fuel!

You can download the new earnify™ mobile app from the Apple® App Store® or Google Play™ store on your phone. From there, once you finish registration, you will be signed up for earnify™ and can begin saving on your Thorntons, ampm, bp, and TravelCenters of America fuel and convenience-store purchases.

You will need to have a mobile phone to download the earnify™ mobile app to register for earnify™. We require all earnify™ members to have a unique phone number to ensure your account stays secure and associated with you only. We made registration easy with a one-time password to log in!

You can then choose how you interact with the program, with three great ways to pay:

  1. Pay for fuel in the app
  2. Swipe your linked payment card at the pump
  3. Enter your loyalty ID (phone number) at the pump

Transactions

  • Thorntons does not place a hold on your funds. Any hold on funds is dictated by your bank or card issuer.
  • When you swipe the card at the pump, your bank is not sure how much you are purchasing, so a pre-authorization/hold is posted until the transaction is completed. Preauthorization is needed so the bank can make sure the debit/credit card account is active and you have appropriate funds.
  • Once your bank has processed the actual transaction, your bank will post the correct amount for the transaction (Preauthorization holds can range from $1.00 to $100.00, normally $75.00 by Visa, $100.00 by Discover/American Express/MasterCard).
  • If the transaction was cancelled in most cases it can take up to 3-5 business days for the hold to be released. However, it may be longer depending on the terms and conditions of your bank.
  • If you believe you were overcharged and are requesting a refund, please contact our Guest Services team by emailing guestservices@mythorntons.com or for more immediate service, please call 1-866-473-0017 during regular business hours. Include the following information: store number or location address, date of transaction, the amount of purchase, and the last 4 digits of the debit or credit card used. We will review the transaction details and contact you.
  • Once confirmed, refunds can take up to 3-5 business days before funds are posted to your account.

Include the following information: store number or location address, date of transaction, the amount of purchase, and the last 4 digits of the debit or credit card used. We will review the transaction details and reply back with a copy of the receipt.
